FERDINAND BEYER

25thJuly 1803 --- 14thMay 1863

The information is all I could find which is not very much.

Ferdinand Beyer was born on 1803 in the town of Mainz, Beyer was a German composer and Pianist.  I know nothing of his early life, from
what I can gather Beyer was very well known in his day for composition of light music and creating piano works of arrangements of many
popular orchestral works.

Beyer now a days is only really remembered for his book Elementary Instruction Book for the Piano op.101 (1851). The Preschool in piano
playing has been a major influence in the  approach to teaching piano,  and is the theory and practice of learning  the piano at a early age,
since its publication,  it has been the foundation of  elementary piano education in many countries,  as is attested by the many anthologies
containing parts of the early school teaching of piano music, and is found in the curriculum, followed in many countries

Here is a small list of some of his piano compositions, Fantaisies brillantes, Op.94, Revue mélodique, Op.112, Bluettes du nord, Op.103 and
the one below I have sequenced Fantasia From La Fille Du Reciment, Opus.36.
